I disagree that speculators are affect...Great post. I disagree that speculators are affecting commodity prices. The speculators affect the futures prices, which tends to be a lot more volatile than the spot price. But when the futures contract reaches maturity, it is a matter of supply and demand, which always provides the correct price, unless speculators are storing coffee. Which they are not(?) <br /><br />I think prices will fall quite soon. The brazilian harvest will be bad, but they have a lot of coffee in storage which is more than enough to compensate, unless the harvest is disastrous. We will se coffee prices back below 150 cent per pound in a few weeks.
